Jamie is an incredible coach and mentor. During our time at HBS, she was on multiple student leadership teams and was a VC mentor with the Career and Professional Development (CPD) center. Her knowledge, thoughtfulness, and ability to unpack her peers’ needs and help them reach their goals was incredible.

In 2021, amidst the challenges and isolation brought on by the global pandemic, my journey to pursue an MBA at Chicago Booth began in an unlikely setting: virtual events. It was here that I first encountered Skyler, whose enthusiasm and expertise in navigating the complex world of MBA admissions immediately captivated me. Despite the inherent limitations of digital interactions, Skyler’s passion for education and dedication to helping students shone through, making a lasting impression on me. As the world slowly edged towards normalcy in 2022, and the opportunity for in-person events resurfaced, my interactions with Skyler transitioned from the virtual realm to the physical. Meeting him face-to-face at these early events solidified my admiration for his approach. Skyler’s genuine enthusiasm for guiding students through their MBA journeys, coupled with his deep knowledge of the Booth MBA program and the admissions process, was both inspiring and invaluable. Throughout my engagement with Skyler, from the virtual events of 2021 to the in-person meetings in 2022, his commitment to supporting prospective students never wavered. His ability to provide tailored advice, grounded in a deep understanding of what institutions like Booth seek in candidates, was instrumental in my application process. For someone from a background that is historically underrepresented in elite business schools, Skyler’s encouragement and insightful guidance were particularly empowering. Skyler’s was a cheerleader and a critical source of wisdom during one of the most pivotal periods of my higher education academic journey. His reaction to my acceptance into the Booth MBA program was a heartfelt celebration of our shared effort and my success. I am deeply grateful for Skyler’s influence on my MBA journey. I have worked with Michaela on a variety of projects over the past few years. She is incredibly organized, dedicated and knowledgeable all things PM related. If you are looking to find a mentor who puts your needs first and will help you reach your goals, look no further! Iris has been invaluable as a coach, mentor, and honestly someone to just bounce ideas off of. She is thoughtful and a great cheerleader, but knows how to ask the right questions to get things done. Highly recommend working with her for any and all things!

Applying to college is a difficult task. You have the pressure of what feels like the world on your shoulders. I took a gap year after I graduated high school and had no confidence in applying to college until I found Skyler. Skyler helped me throughout the entire process of applying for college: figuring out what colleges fit me best, financial aid, admissions essays and so much more. The responses from the colleges have been outstanding so far and I'm forever thankful to Skyler for making this possible.

I cannot think of anyone better as a coach than Iris. Iris possesses a rare combination of intelligence, charisma, and humility, making her an exceptional coach and mentor. Her extensive knowledge and experience, paired with an innate ability to connect with individuals on a personal level, allows her to tailor her coaching methods to suit each person’s unique needs and learning styles. I cannot recommend her enough!

Choosing an MBA program is a big personal and professional decision, and Skyler’s deep knowledge of the admissions process, professionalism, and reliability helped inform my decision to attend UChicago Booth. Skyler helped me through all steps of the Booth evening MBA application process, from my decision to apply, pulling my app together, and committing. I had a lot of questions and queries throughout the process-- especially since I come from a non-profit/government background where most professionals do not attend business school-- and Skyler was great to work with. I was very grateful for the help, especially since Skyler advocated for me to get additional scholarship funding from the school, which I ultimately received .

Karthik is an amazing coach! I am confident he is the reason I received multiple consulting offers. Not only is he very intelligent, but he’s also patient, kind and uniquely skilled at identifying areas in which people need specific coaching. Karthik has my highest recommendation. Anyone lucky enough to have Karthik as a coach/mentor will be better for it.

Garrett was extremely helpful in preparing me for my case interview! He was very communicative on timing and made sure to understand my case and background before the meeting. He came prepared with multiple materials and sent reference links after as well to guide my preparation. Would definitely recommend!
