At first session felt helpful but after talking to other coaches with more experience realized the support and value wasn’t that great.

Our session went well, but I thought it was odd she wanted to spend time on discussing the current job market (after I'd already given my background and demonstrated awareness of the same). She basically repeated what I'd mentioned and it ate up more than necessary amount of time on our 30 min call. Of course we didn't get to dive into the actual purposes of the call and I later realized it may be because this was a free call (included in the bootcamp). Overall, my impression is that it was a strategic call meant to entice clients to purchase more time. I'm not a fan of these kinds of tactics, especially as a jobseeker thinking I'm signing up for genuine assistance. This seemingly intentional delay was disappointing enough to not recommend Amanda, despite how knowledgable she seemed and how easy our conversation was.

Xin knows her stuff but you need to work with her from the beginning. Be ready for logistical issues like being late. I don't think I got a lot from the one hour long session I had with her. Instead of building my fundamentals up, it was just my way of thinking vs hers which got annoying (I am sure for her as well). You need to be already ahead in your casing journey and if you think you need that extra push is when you contact Xin.

Lee is expensive to work with. With an hourly rate as high as his you expect him to show up to your calls prepared. Multiple times I would ask to prepare for an interview or ask for specific conversations during our calls and he would show up unprepared and waste time. He seems knowledgeable, but also unwilling to commit his full attention and effort to his clients.
