Bruce is an exceptional tutor who made all the difference in my exam preparation journey for the EA/GMAT. My score barely moved after months of studying and even completing one of the popular prep courses. Bruce’s dedication and expertise are evident in the personalized homework/lessons he would create to improve my weaknesses, and even responded to the many questions I would email him (at all hours of the day) almost immediately with a comprehensive breakdown of the problem. Studying for these exams is grueling and mentally draining, but Bruce’s upbeat personality makes all the difference. I’ve worked with multiple coaches in the past and Ian was by far one of the best coaches I’ve had. It’s with his support that I was able to secure an offer at BCG. Ian was effectively able to do 3 things for me during our coaching sessions: (1) he was able to breakdown my casing habits and figure out the root cause of any technical case elements I was struggling with, (2) build up the right technical habits needed to case well and (3) build my confidence going into the interviews. Within the first session, Ian was able to drill down on areas where I was struggling with which were the frameworks and case math. Going into our next session he made sure to tailor exercises that would work on building those skills. He made sure to fix the language I was using during my upfront structures so that it was action oriented and taught me how to clearly layout case math so that it can easily be communicated. Outside just the technical, there were times I was struggling with confidence when running through a session. Ian realized this and he was able to break this down and bring a sense of reality and calm during these discussions which I appreciated tremendously. I would definitely recommend Ian as the right case coach to secure an offer!
