Alex is the rare type of coach who has both an incredible breadth and depth of knowledge, but can also translate that into high-impact action items. His feedback and guidance was critical in my acceptance to business school (NYU Stern). If you are even considering business school, an hour of Alex's time can provide you with the guidance you need to decide whether it's a fit for you. Beyond that, if you are interested in any aspect of health care, health tech or management consulting, Alex has invaluable experience and advice in all of those realms. Alex has provided me with countless suggestions that have helped me successfully navigate my career in health care consulting and health tech while avoiding common pitfalls. Can't recommend Alex highly enough!

Doug played a pivotal role in my successful transition from the Army to business school. James coached me through a job transition process after business school. He was very informed about the space (emerging markets / start ups) from a career and technical side. His willingness to support is outstanding and very genuine. After multiple discussions with James, I landed a job that was right up my alley!

Douglas served as my Team Leader in Special Operations, and conducted himself in a professional and knowledgable leader. He always gave great advice as a mentor as well as leading the team to become the most successful in our battalion.

James helped guide me to my job after graduating from GSB — he took time to understand my interests, strengths, and goals, and he highlighted a role aligned with those. While I was in the role, I would often seek his advice on how to approach different work situations, and he would coach me through my preparation, including how I could better communicate a message. I always appreciated how he could help me see different perspectives, and he would encourage me as I took the next step forward. At the GSB he was also always someone I would talk to when thinking about how to align school with my goals. I think he would be a very thoughtful coach throughout the MBA process.

I didn't even realize I was benefiting from Alterrell's coaching until I put his advice into action and experienced a remarkable improvement in my life.
