I got into GSB and I’m really enjoying my time here. Joy guided me through the whole process, starting from brainstorming all the way to submitting the application. She gave me a very clear direction and timeline from day one. At every step, I knew exactly what to do and what “good” looked like. Her experience really shows. The plan she set early on was realistic and well thought through, which helped me stay on track without feeling rushed. In the end, I had enough time to apply to GSB, and we continued working together on Harvard and Wharton as well.

I had the opportunity to work under David as my Sales Director, and it was a consistently positive experience. He brought a clear sense of direction to the team and led with both confidence and approachability. David set high expectations, but he also made sure everyone had the support and resources needed to meet them. His ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day guidance helped create a productive and motivated environment. What stood out most was David’s commitment to his team’s growth. He was always willing to share insights, provide constructive feedback, and recognize individual contributions. He fostered collaboration and encouraged us to think creatively about solving challenges. Working for David not only strengthened my sales skills but also gave me a better understanding of effective leadership.

I have been going to Amrit for the last couple of years (for career things, gmat etc) and change and I must say that he has been instrumental in changing the direction of my professional life. He is a rare kind, very humane, emphatetic and has been able to consistently give me solid advice that has helped me transition from an okayish career to something really really promising now. One thing I really like about him is that he just doesn’t only give you answers to your problems on a plate (he can and brilliant solutions at that!) but rather teaches you structures that you can then apply to solve literally any problem. Another thing and I know it’s not just me but have heard it from a couple of friends who i had referred to Amrit - he is not a transactional person. He really does a lot more than what is required, sort of that ‘going above and beyond’ - which I truly really appreciate. Also, he is a very smart guy with so much real world experience and keeps himself on top of things going around - someone you would definitely want in your corner. Also bonus, he is a really fun to talk to!

Working with Amrit has been genuinely life-changing for me. I come from a very challenging educational background and a low socio-economic situation. When I first spoke to him, he didn’t focus on any of that. Instead, he focused on my strengths and treated everything else simply as areas to improve. Before working with him, I was doing jobs like dog walking and customer service. Today, I’ve grown into a managerial role at an edtech firm, contributing to sales of over $180K . More importantly, he helped me completely shift how I see myself — from someone defined by limitations to someone with a unique story and the ability to adapt and grow through adversity. Chance has worked extremely hard in each of his classes, and it shows when he tutors students! He is professional and kind to everyone he interacts with and the students he tutors respect him. I feel comfortable asking him for help in any subject because he teaches very clearly and simply and quickly adapts to the student’s needs!

I worked with Katie at an early stage in my finance career when I was developing the mindset and work-style needed for quantitative roles. I found her mentorship incredibly valuable. What made the biggest difference for me was how practical and tailored her guidance was. She quickly assessed where I was, identified the areas where I lacked clarity or depth, and gave me concrete steps to improve. Her feedback consistently helped me sharpen both my technical understanding and my confidence in my career. Katie is also an outstanding mentor on a personal level: patient, responsive, encouraging, and genuinely committed to helping junior candidates grow. She creates an environment where asking basic questions never feels uncomfortable, but at the same time she pushes you to elevate your skills and thought process. Furthermore, she is not just focused on finance in isolation, but encourages thinking about life more broadly and sustainably. I appreciated that she values both rigor in finance and inspirations from daily life.

I had the most amazing time working with Cass! She is a wonderful coach- she is very intelligent, kind and is extremely funny! She has a great way of customizing learning and making it fun! I would recommend her 10/10!

James helped me to get out of my own head and start getting ahead. James is a skilled coach that helped me see that the way to move forward is to start by going in. He helped me design a clear leadership foundation that I use almost everyday to help make decision, lead other leaders, and in relationships outside of work.
