I have witnessed Krystas work with students through one-on-one advising appointments, workshops, and presentations. She is a dedicated and compassionate advisor who puts her students needs at the forefront of programming. She has created interviewing and personal statement workshops, bringing MSU alumni that currently work in the medical industry to provide mentorship and support. Krysta constantly looks for creative and innovative ways to support students by creating accessible pathways to medical school. Through her work she has included me in the process to support students applying to medical school by providing training on the application process. Thanks to her dedication we now have several people who are trained and able to work with students as they prepare to embark on their medical journey.

Lucie was a mentor who helped me transition into my first role as a Product Manager. As my manager, she played a critical part in setting me up for success in that specific PM role, as well as my broader career. I have always looked up to Lucie's brand of leadership: a blend of thoughtfulness, curiosity and relentless optimism. I hope I get an opportunity to work with her again!

Nabil has been a fantastic tutor that I would highly recommend. His approach helped alleviate stress and made the process clear when it came to understanding the ACT.

Nabil is very thorough when discussing writing and math concepts on the ACT. I have been working with him for ACT prep and I have benefited greatly. I was having some trouble with some algebra and geometry along with sentence structure and grammar rules. After 4-5 sessions going through math and writing practice problems, I was able to increase my scores by 6 points in the Writing section and 5 points in the Math section. I am looking forward to my future sessions with him!

Shruti has been my mentor for 6+ years, and she was instrumental in my early career development. Shruti excels at asking insightful questions which allowed us to (1) work out my strengths and weaknesses, and (2) develop action-oriented development goals. Shruti has been my coach since 2014. Besides helping me write essays for admission to graduate school (MS at UCSF and PhD at NYU) - her advice has helped shaped my interests and short-term as well as long term goals. By using her practical tips on (1) networking, (2) creating the right resume and (3) searching for a job - I was able to gain invaluable industry biotech experience in the form of an internship during my PhD. Shruti is able to provide direct, actionable short-term feedback that is tailored specifically to my goals in improving diagnostic care.

Shruti has been my mentor since 2022. Although she was not my direct manager, she went above and beyond to ensure I was getting the growth opportunities that align with my short and long term interest. She tailors her feedback and recommendations based on my professional goals. She not only was one of my strong advocates / support on the team, she equipped me with the tools and skillsets such that I could advocate for myself in the future. Since her departure from team, she remain an active part of my professional development. What I appreciate her the most is her honesty and asking the difficult questions for me to reflect. She guided me to think about my long term career growth, the path I can take to get there, and prepare for any discussions with recruiters / interview that I may have.

Without a doubt, Jose's greatest strength is his relentless drive to achieve his goals. He is diligent, very sharp, and always looking to help you so that you can achieve your goals too. Working with him in several classes and observing him recruit, I can attest first-hand to Jose's disciplined work ethic, along with the impressive results he achieves. I could not recommend Jose more as I know he would apply all of these skills to be an excellent coach.

Lucie is absolutely wonderful to work with. She is thoughtful, empathetic and realistic when it comes to planning and setting goals. Lucie is an active communicator and keeps stakeholders up to date on all projects I have done with her.
