I first met Thomas Luten as a dental student at the University of North Carolina nearly 30 years ago. During that time Mr. Luten, as he was called then, provided strategic guidance for me in navigating the challenges and pressures of professional school. His ability to dissect and reframe problems, while providing actionable steps that led to successful outcome was a true asset. Thomas’ and I talked regularly during my dental school journey, establishing a strong working relationship. I personally observed him worked diligently to support student success and retention efforts, while also assisting in career planning advice. He is the quintessential professional. Early in my career I started to benefit from his sage advance that I was sometimes resistant to early on as a student. I’m grateful for his patience as I blazed my path and for holding me accountable to my vision with unwavering support. His ability to partner with individuals and groups to maximize their full potential is rare. I’m personally lucky to have had him as a mentor then and a trusted adviser now.

I first met Mr. Thomas Luten as a Pre-Dental Biology major at Morehouse College. Mr. Luten was recruiting for the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. He gave a presentation to the Morehouse students in the science department, educating us about the UNC Summer MED program for students interested in Medical and Dental professions. Mr. Luten explained that the MED program targeted students from disadvantaged, rural and underserved communities, and gave students an opportunity to experience what the 1st semester of professional school will look and feel like, condensed into 9 weeks of rigorous Academic preparation! Following successful completion of summer programs at UCSF and University of Michigan, Mr. Luten’s presentation convinced me that The UNC MED program would be my final summer program prior to applying to dental school. That decision was one of the best decisions I ever made, thanks to Mr. Luten representing my alma mater UNC-CH SOD, so well! Mr. Luten was always kind, charming, genuine and passionate about the UNC-CH SOD. He was helpful throughout my entire application process with the MED program, along with my application process to Dental school at UNC-CH. That same support continued throughout dental school, when applying to financial aid scholarships, summer rotations to Malawi Africa, and applying post graduate to AEGD programs. From the moment I met Mr. Luten, he adopted me as one of his many “son’s of UNC-CH School of Dentistry”. I owe Mr. Luten a great deal of gratitude for his continued support throughout my education as a young man aspiring to become a dentist. I would not be where I am today, without his continuous support and encouragement during those early years throughout my college and dental school career. Mr. Luten brings a passion for representing the institution and organization that he works for. He offers a genuine and unrelenting hand of assistance to anyone who is looking for and accepts his help and generosity. He makes teams and organizations better when he is apart of them, he charms and wins people over with his warm nature and friendly smile, and he gives his all to make sure those who deserve a fair chance in life, are given an opportunity to show what they can offer the world! It is with great fervor that I recommend Mr. Thomas Luten, as he embarks on the next chapter of his career. Thank you Mr. Luten for pouring into me, believing in me and fighting for me!

I had an excellent experience with Michael. He is professional and highly experienced with MBA admissions interviews. He tailored the mock interview closely to my specific background and situation, and the questions were highly relevant to my target program. The session felt very realistic, with just the right level of pressure to simulate the atmosphere of an actual interview. The feedback afterward was especially valuable. Michael pointed out things I hadn’t heard before from others I had practiced with. He also helped me understand what to refine and which strengths to continue emphasizing. Overall, it was an incredibly helpful and confidence-building experience.

Working with Cynthia was truly transformative. She helped to bring my story to life in a way that went far beyond numbers. She was incredibly flexible: always making time for me, always attentive, and deeply invested in my success. No question was ever rushed; she took the time to walk through every detail and gave me a tremendous amount of confidence throughout the process. At the height of the admissions season, while balancing a demanding full-time job, I felt genuinely supported throughout the entire journey and I received an amazing acceptance to an Ivy League law school. Cynthia’s guidance helped me stay grounded, manage stress, and move forward with clarity and purpose. Her extensive experience as both an attorney and an admissions expert is evident in everything she does, but it’s her personal care and dedication that truly set her apart. She is one of a kind!

I worked with Cynthia on my law school applications in 2024. As a first-generation student with no legal connections, I really needed guidance. Cynthia helped me shape my story and kept my application clear and organized. She was always available and made me feel supported every step of the way. Her kindness and patience made it easy for me to share my worries and ask questions. Cynthia ensured that I completed every task on time and didn’t miss any details. By the end, my application was solid and complete. I felt much more confident about my career path and myself. I was accepted to about half the schools I applied to. I’m so grateful for Cynthia’s help and excited to see her start her own firm. I could not recommend her enough!

Working with Cynthia and her team was the best decision I could have made, and I can say with certainty that I would not have had the same success with my applications without their help. She guided me through the application process from start to finish and was able to provide valuable guidance for every step along the way. Her admissions experience especially shined in the essay portion of the applications- she knew how to bring out my best ideas and stories and, with the help of her team, translate them to paper. My admissions results were everything I could have hoped for and more, and I’m happy to say that I will be attending my dream school thanks to the guidance Cynthia and her team provided.
