I cannot start thanking enough Ellin for all the support provided during my MBA application! I started preparing for the applications in March, and I knew I had to use my time until October wisely, otherwise it could not be enough. Ellin was instrumental in setting a daily routine and making sure I stuck to it, guaranteeing steady progress on my applications. We worked remotely for pretty much 7 months, but that was never an issue or block for our activities. Ellin also helped me a lot to realize which schools to apply, based on my experience and ambitions, and the best evidence of her amazing contributions to my applications is that I was admitted to my MBA of choice, besides being accepted in an MSc dual-degree program, and with a full scholarship offered voluntarily by the school. I asked Ellin’s help in negotiating scholarships with 2 b-schools where I had been accepted to. I was initially offered a scholarship by one of the schools, and, with the help of Ellin, I asked the other school to match that amount - and they did! We then went back to the first school to ask for some more “incentive” for me to join them. In the end, I received a full scholarship (+ living expenses covered) from the first school where I’ll start my MBA studies in September. Even though the full scholarship was a merit-based scholarship that I had separately applied to, the school funding team hinted that even if I did not get it, they would have increased my baseline scholarship amount. She is not only a fast thinker and an amazing communicator with a lot of experience in a wide range of situations, but her hourly rates are very competitive, too. She is also very understanding of individual circumstances when it comes to payments - I really felt that she cared about me and my progress, and not just about banking her fees :)

I am very excited to go to Yale SOM and meet incredible people truly committed to impacting businesses and society while I myself grow as a leader.
