The biggest help for me was to organize my thoughts, my self-perception to identify strengths and weaknesses, and to sort out my career goals based on my history and all the self-reflection that the consulting helped me direct, with insightful questions. Working with Ellin was a very important part of the process, because all of the know-how and directions they have. She helped me understand the process and its goals, and prepare myself in the most effective and productive way.

Ellin makes the application process seem easy because we have access to a board with every step we need to complete along the way. During our meetings, we feel free to reflect on our experiences while she provides very insightful suggestions on how to make the best use of our stories. We also get tons of resources to help us prepare for the interviews--there wasn't one single question asked in my interviews that I had not prepared an answer to. I am truly grateful to have had the chance to work with her and her team, and I would absolutely recommend her! The support received is unmatched, and Ellin also has connections with AdComs, so she knows really well the nuances of each MBA program. The final product of my essays, especially the ones that are more important and time-consuming. I think the offline process of exchanging essays back and forth the key as it allows both client and staff to ruminate over the writings instead of trying to wrap up everything on a single call. Even though it might be a little more expensive or time-consuming to write the essays, I think the experience was excellent, as I had results in line with my potential and scores and got accepted at great schools. I hired a different consultant last year it wasn't the same.

I did 3 one-on-one sessions with Ellin prior to my HBS interview. It helped me feel more confident, more structured in my responses, and better prepared to field whatever question would come my way. Ellin is very well prepared for each session, thorough, gives great feedback and detailed notes. She is energetic and open to questions and suggestions. I really like that if she knew we won't have time to cover some questions she'd come up with, she would send me those extra questions separately - it was a nice added touch. The whole prep process felt very personalized to me and my profile, which definitely made a difference.

I was able to see a lot of nuance and difference between a successful application and the one I submitted the previous year. I absolutely will recommend, I think the feeling of support you get from Ellin with your story.
