I've been doing tutoring sessions with Sanford for the past few months and I attribute so much of my growth with his support. He has not only helped me raise my PT scores by 10-15 points from my diagnostic, but has been incredibly encouraging and whenever my confidence has been dipping. I was struggling with the LSAT and had been studying for a long time on my own, but getting no where fast. I came to Sanford with a low 150s score and while I tried to be hopeful I was frustrated because I had been putting in my hours and was not seeing improvement on my own. During our first meeting we discussed what I had done and what my LSAT dream score was. Sanford was so clear, communicative, empathetic and patient. I felt refreshed and that I had a chance. During our coaching sessions he remained so patient and took the time to explain the numerous questions I came with. We would work through each question on my list and he ensured I understood before we moved on. He taught me strategy and reminded me to have faith in myself. Mihir is BY FAR the highest ROI GMAT tutor on Leland. HIGHLY recommend. Tutors who can explain the answer to one problem are a dime a dozen. But Mihir is so, so much better. More so than anyone else I have met, Mihir has an uncanny ability to understand and address the gaps in your understanding and prescribe specific test-taking strategies that work for you, so you never miss another problem like it. For instance, I was most worried about the verbal section heading into my test. After working together for about 2.5 weeks total, I went from scoring in the 79th percentile to consistently in the 97-99th percentile in verbal. He was beyond helpful across all three sections. The way Mihir can explain math topics and strategies in a way that you can easily follow every word is unbelievable. Would highly recommend, you won't regret it!
