As someone with a non-traditional art background, I never imagined I would even be considered by any business school. Carin coached me and helped me shape my story in a way that led to acceptances from all three schools I applied to.!! The guidance she gave me nearly three years ago didn’t just get me through the application process, it continued to support me throughout the MBA and even during my job interviews after graduation. Now, with a dream job and an offer in hand, I can confidently say that pursuing an MBA was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and working with Carin on my applications was the other! She brings out the very best in you, and does it with unmatched kindness and care!

Jimmy is truly an amazing tutor. He made study sessions and materials tailored to me, and I always was able to use these study materials even out of sessions. He cares so much about helping his students and wants to see them succeed. He tailored our meetings to fit who I am as a person and student and I would not be where I am today without Jimmy. He was flexible in creating a schedule for our meetings considering I also had a 9-5 internship while I tutored with Jimmy. He is a great tutor and I would recommend him to anyone who needs LSAT help or even help navigating LSAC and the application process.

Very grateful for the time I worked with Kerry! She's in your corner, has unique insight with HBS that I felt helped to move the needle, and made a daunting admissions process feel much more approachable.

From a Harvard Law School member of the Class of 2028 (176 LSAT): To the pre-law student reading this: I was once in your shoes, grinding through daily LSAT prep. I know how overwhelming it feels to navigate this process, especially when you're constantly bombarded with ads, prep companies, and tutors all making big promises. It’s hard to tell what actually works and what’s just noise, and a tutor is a major investment—not just financially, but in your time and in your future. You deserve to make an informed choice. I can confidently say that Jimmy is the real deal. Let me be clear (because I know how hard it is to tell these days): I'm a real person, not AI or some bot, and Jimmy didn’t pay me to write this either. I’m actually typing this up during my 1L finals week because that’s how grateful I am for his help, and because I genuinely want more students to succeed with him. The experience is that mutually rewarding. If you’re skeptical, tell him you read this review and I’m sure that he’d connect you with me, and (as long as I’m not drowning in work) I’d be happy to tell you again in even more detail everything that I’m saying here face-to-face. Now, the practical stuff: what are you actually getting? Exactly what he promises on his website https://www.jdlsat.com/how-it-works.html and more. No tutor can guarantee a specific LSAT score, but if you have a goal that’s realistically within reach and you're willing to put in the work, Jimmy is probably the person who can get you there. He tailors everything to your needs and learning style. You’re not just another billable hour or someone being funneled through a generic prep-company script. He’ll work with whatever materials you have. If something isn’t clicking, he’ll find another way to explain it. He doesn’t get frustrated, and he doesn’t give up. He'll also bring genuinely fresh perspectives that are backed by his experience tutoring other standardized tests, and those insights and connections that he draws work. What Jimmy won’t do is waste your time with gimmicky “LSAT tricks” that promise easy shortcuts. He'll teach you how to actually reason your way to the right answer, which is what the LSAT is testing in the first place. He’ll help you understand how the test-makers think, why the questions are designed the way that they are, and how to navigate that logic with confidence. At the end of the day, Jimmy teaches the LSAT for the love of the game, and it shows. If you want someone who truly cares about your progress, invests in your success, and knows the test inside and out, he’s the one.

I highly recommend Austrella Balley for any MBA coaching position. Working with her has been one of the most motivating experiences of my career. She has a rare mix of discipline, emotional intelligence, and real-world insight that makes her stand out immediately! What impressed me most is how intentional she is with her clients—she doesn’t just give guidance, she actually invests in your growth. Every session feels personal, thoughtful, and pushed me to operate at a higher level. She’s consistent, dependable, and truly wants to see you win!

Maura was my GRE tutor and, over the course of 10 sessions, she helped me raise my GRE score to 328. Thanks to Maura's patience with my shaky math abilities, I was able to strengthen my quant and get into two of my top MBA program choices. I'm very happy at Yale now, and I credit Maura for being a huge part of the journey in getting me here.

My externships with Beats by Dre and HUGO Boss taught me so much about marketing strategy and how consumers really perceive advertisements, but what made the experience especially impactful was Michael’s guidance throughout the process. He helped me understand how to apply what I was learning in a real-world context and pushed me to think more critically about why certain campaigns resonate. Now working at Dentsu, after previously being at WPP Media, two of the top advertising firms in the world, I’m able to draw on the foundation Michael helped me build. His support played a real role in preparing me to work on some of the biggest commercial campaigns in the industry.

I came to Madeleine for last-minute help last year for both a scholarship application and my UC essays. After working with her, I was so much more confident in hitting submit. I’m SO happy I chose her because now I was accepted to UCLA. There’s no way I could have achieved this without her. I’m so appreciative of her expertise, help, and genuine care for my success. <3
