I am a computer science and japanese double major at Hamilton. Writing was never really my stronger suit, and as such I’ve visited the writing center at Hamilton for nearly all my papers. It didn’t matter that the subjects that I wrote my papers on were completely different from Deanna’s field, she’d always be an incredible coach on how best to convey my arguments. Even with my Japanese thesis, while written in Japanese, Deanna was able to help me mold and restructure my paper based only on the drafts and skeletons that were written in english. I believe she has an incredible skill when it comes to analyzing essays and her analytical way of explaining makes it so much easier to not only grasp but for me to learn and incorporate in my future papers as well.

Austrella’s talent as a coach is truly beyond anything I’ve ever seen. The heart, work ethic, and passion she pours into her clients is the same dedication she pours into her own growth. She is incredibly hardworking, but what makes her exceptional goes far beyond any standard coach. She teaches confidence, adaptability, and the ability to navigate any room with presence and grace. Austrella has a unique gift for commanding a space while also bringing warmth and light into it. Her impact isn’t just professional, it’s personal, empowering, and lasting. One of the things I admire most about her is that the moment you connect with her, you become part of her community. She doesn’t just coach you, she supports you, advocates for you, and brings you into a network of people who want to see you succeed. And if she doesn’t have the exact answer to something, she will go out of her way to find someone who does. She never leaves you hanging and will ensure she finds the resources, connections, or guidance you need. I truly couldn’t recommend her more.

I have been very fortunate to work with Jörn. Coming from an international background, trying to enter a foreign job market created a lot of uncertainty, I didn’t really know where to start. Jörn, however, took a systematic approach, guiding me through our sessions to tackle the challenge effectively. What I especially appreciated is that the sessions were not unilateral, where a coach simply gives you clarity, but interactive and collaborative. We searched, analysed, and worked together to achieve our goals. I completed the package of sessions with much more confidence and motivation.

Last year I hired Madeleine to help with both my son (12th grade) and daughter (10th grade) since we were not receiving sufficient help from their school. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone with her very thoughtful, friendly, and approachable way of working with students. She has a real talent for maximizing the application and each student. I was so happy that my son got into his main choice schools, and my daughter will continue to work closely with her. We love her!
