Ming is an uplifting coach. She is a great listener, trustworthy and easy to connect with. Before working with Ming, I lost the drive in my career because of the toxic working environment in my previous company. Even though I had a great education and strong professional background, I did not see my career path moving upward. I chose Ming as my coach because she had extensive industry experience. She understands the challenges I faced in my workplace. And she is able to ask great questions which helped me to think deeply about my motivation. With Ming’s coaching, I learned to slow down and look inward. I also learned how to turn my frustration at work into self-awareness and effective action. Now, I am able to align my career direction to my values such as meaningful impact, innovation, trust relationship and continuous learning. She also guided me to explore other career paths around those values. She helped me craft a stronger narrative for interviews and prioritize decision factors for my career change. Oftentimes, our sessions were about building a sense of purpose and self-empowerment, using practical tools to control my emotions and renew my energy besides career building strategies.
