Being a first-generation medical student who applied late in the cycle, Krysta was pivotal to my acceptance into medical school as she provided help from the very start of my application process to the end. Krysta helped me to create a school list that aligned with my goals, edited drafts of my personal statement, and took an in-depth look at my activities section. While applying to medical school, I was also studying to take the MCAT. I greatly appreciated Krysta's flexibility in meeting with me and how she provided much-needed structure by setting deadlines for me to complete specific parts of my application. When I received secondaries from schools, Krysta was available and supportive to me yet again by helping me display how my qualities would make me a great medical student and physician. Upon receiving interviews from schools, Krysta met with me multiple times to practice "mock interviews" that simulated a natural interview setting and, after, would provide constructive feedback on areas to improve on before my actual interviews. On my interview days, I appreciated how Krysta would always reach out to wish me luck and follow up afterward to ask how the interview process went. Lastly, upon receiving school acceptances, Krysta was an asset in picking what school was the best for me, considering my goals and aspects that were vital to me. As a rising M1, I know that if I need any coaching or support, I still have Krysta as a helpful resource moving forward.

I had the luck to connect with Milton in this program offered at St. John’s University in which students consulted with various different multinational companies. From the start of the program Milton had such an important presence in our team and in our class. Ever since that program Milton has been an exceptional life coach, mentor and above all friend. Whenever I’ve had a career move I’ve always counted on Milton to offer his perspective, as he is very insightful and considerate about the person that I am and what career path will align better for me. Anyone who is lucky to be mentored by Milton will not only find someone with vast knowledge, but they will make a long lasting connection.
