I found my coaching session with Connor to be extremely helpful! I appreciated Connor's ability to provide specific/productive feedback while also giving me a great idea of what to expect for upcoming interviews!

Michael gave really practical and realistic advice for someone early in their career journey. He shared helpful insights on how to reach out to people in tech more effectively and how breaking larger goals into smaller, manageable tasks can make them much more achievable. He also gave me clarity on project direction, the relevance of data careers, and why worrying too much about data being “replaceable” shouldn’t be the main concern. Instead, he emphasized focusing on bringing value, doing the right things strategically, and understanding concepts like positioning and sales funnels. Overall, the session was insightful, practical, and direction-oriented.

I’m an MBA student with a prior background in consulting, and I was trying to break into tech. I had done a lot of reading and worked on a few small projects, but I just still didn’t feel too confident going into interviews. I started working with Michael on a weekly basis. Early on, we cleaned up my resume, my story, and networking strategy. After that, Michael helped me stay current on what was happening in AI and translate that into things I could actually talk about in interviews. The biggest unlock was that we co-built a product project together. It gave me something concrete to point to, and it helped me explain my interest in AI and tech in a more credible way. Michael has a rare mix of technical and business judgment. He could talk through AI products and technical concepts, while also understanding how to position my background and what recruiters/interviewers actually cared about. I ended up landing a role at one of my dream tech startups in San Francisco, and I can’t overstate how valuable Michael was in making that happen.
