I had a great time working with Amber. She’s very personal and thoughtful in every session and gives her clients flexibility to schedule meetings in the ways that are most helpful for them. She helped me really understand the in’s and out’s as well as do’s and don’ts of every part of my JD/MBA applications. During our sessions, Amber was great at helping me brainstorm the best essay topics/flows and also helping me identify powerful themes I wouldn’t have noticed by myself. She gave me sound and realistic advice about how to select recommenders as well as tactical suggestions on what guidance to give each recommender to help them write a powerful letter. Finally, she was very helpful in helping me identify the most powerful narratives to showcase in my essays and in helping me tie each idea to each other to make the story more cohesive for admission officers.

Ben led a very structured session, giving us a look of how to unbundle the famous Q of "What matters most to you and Why", with step-by-step technical guidance while making it grounded with real examples. Highly recommended!

Before having my personal statement revised by Rubee, I was feeling very unconfident about it and didn't know if it will convey my messages and ideas to the admission officers, but with Rubee's help, I now feel so much better about the personal statement. She did an amazing job on refining my personal statement, making better transitions and more concise wordings. My personal statement sounded so much better after her edits.
