From the very first conversation I had with Pamela, I knew we were a match – her enthusiasm and insights during our introduction call were unmatched. Not only did she form a coherent view of how to best position myself in an application, but also correctly matched what I thought were the best MBA program fit for my personality. When we did finally begin working together, her experience and perspective on the application process was unparalleled. She illustrated each application’s flavor – from a more personal assessment to a career progression/goal evaluation. Within each application, she had an uncanny knack for what each business school was asking for in every essay question. She actively recommended the best types of programs based on my personal experience (from prior discussions) that she felt would be the best fit. And above all else, she is devoted. Pam was incredibly helpful and invested in my MBA journey. Coming into the MBA application process, I wasn’t sure my application would be competitive enough to gain admission to a Top 25 MBA program as I had a below-average GMAT score. After my first meeting with Pam, however, I knew that she would add tremendous value. Pam helped me develop my personal brand and offered strategic insights that I would have never considered had I not worked with her. Pam is 100% devoted to your success and is willing to be flexible to help you succeed. I decided to apply to six programs with less than 30 days before the application deadlines (would not advise!!). In this short time frame, Pam worked incredibly hard to provide thorough and insightful feedback to my essays. Pam’s straightforwardness was invaluable in making my applications stand out – she provided candid feedback on essays and interview responses that she liked/did not like and why. This approach helped me think more deeply about my story and how best to convey my personal qualities and strengths to resonate more with the reader/interviewer. Her feedback also helped me think outside the box and learn how to best answer the “Why an MBA” and “Why this program” questions. Jeremy helped me in the application process for MD/MBA programs. Our conversations ultimately allowed me to dig deeper into my story, making my writing and communicating much more focused and powerful. He asked me the right series of questions to bring out what lies at the root of the anecdotes I spoke about in my application. I highly recommend Jeremy, he was a fantastic coach.

Working without professional guidance, I went 0/5 on my round 1 applications last year. I was clearly doing something wrong and needed help. I have an unconventional background and I simply wasn't telling my own story effectively. I contacted six consulting companies and cannot believe how lucky I was to be paired with Andy. He helped me to understand why certain anecdotes or stories would be ineffective--or worse, potentially detrimental --to my application. The most valuable aspect of our partnership was Andy's ability--based on his vast experience critiquing countless essays--to tell me when the angle I was pursuing simply wasn't working. When that happened, I'd come back the next day with another idea, and he'd explain why that didn't work either and we would work through it together. Eventually, I was able to produce something that really clicked. We both knew when It hit it. Whenever I sent Andy a draft, his turnaround was crazy fast. He has a gift for intuitively understanding what I was striving to accomplish, and clearly providing ideas around better ways to do it. And yet, Andy is somehow capable of delivering his critiques in a good-natured, positive way. In the end, I gained admission to Chicago, Tepper, Columbia, and NYU. After my shutout from round 1, I'm not just relieved, I'm thrilled!

I worked with Emily for 6 months from start to finish. She was particularly helpful in writing my essays and articulating my story in creative and fun ways. A couple of standout points about Emily: 1. She'll be honest about the quality of your content, and will pivot you in the right direction if it's subpar. 2. She'll give you tons of examples if you reach a block, but the expectation is you do the initial work for originality purposes. 3. She works efficiently, and you'll be put on a detailed schedule racing towards the result deadlines. 4. She gleans out your strengths from your conversations with her -- some I didn't even know how to articulate! 5. If you are waitlisted, she won't stop there/drop the ball. She will give you recommendations and examples of what you can do. I got off the waitlist when I put in the work taking her advice.

With Andy’s help, I was recently admitted to several top programs including Stanford GSB. I do not think I would have been able to accomplish this without Andy’s expert guidance, not to mention the sense of calm and positivity he delivered throughout my application process. Andy’s feedback was extremely detailed, and I never got the sense that he was providing cookie-cutter advice. He does not use templates during the advisory process, but rather provides thoughtful and challenging feedback that helped my application develop into a unique and comprehensive expression of my candidacy. He never re-wrote any of my materials which guaranteed that my genuine voice could shine through in my applications. A couple of things that I can’t thank Andy for enough were his suggestion that I apply to two programs that I had previously not considered—and how generous he was with his time helping me prep for interviews. Responsiveness and reliability were stellar working with Andy. I also want to add that I purchased a 2 school package. This allowed me the peace of mind to work with Andy as much as I needed without having to worry about “the clock.” If I had to do it again, I would pick Andy. I look forward to the opportunity to refer him to my peers and friends.

Jineet was incredibly helpful and influential during my MBA interview prep. We ran through countless mock interviews together and he pulled from his personal experience which made each session feel like it was grounded in reality. Allie helped me from start to finish with my applications and I couldn’t have done it without her. To begin, she really helped me identify what exactly it was that I wanted out of business school, and how business school resources would align to my career goals. She then provided such useful and clear guidance about the schools I was considering, and we were able to craft essays that were really tailored to my goals but also individualized and specific to each school. We operated on a tighter timeline, but she made sure to carve out time to iterate with me and get my applications across the finish line. I highly recommend working with Allie!
