I was highly skeptical about using an admissions consultant when doing my research. It seemed a bit like the Wild West with various different consultants quoting me vastly different fees. Beyond an initial phone call there wasn’t much else to go on considering the substantial investment. So when I came across Christine and she told me about her experience actually working as an admissions officer at Booth and LBS I immediately felt comfortable parting with my hard earned cash as I realized there was real value to be had in having her expertise to tap in to. Here was someone who could back up that they actually knew what they were talking about! I don’t regret my decision. After our first strategy call I was taken aback by how perceptively and quickly Christine understood me as a person and how from that, a strategy was developed that really emphasized by points of difference. This was backed up by a relentless focus on putting my best foot forward in all of my essays and tailoring my application to each school whilst maintaining my authenticity as a candidate. This was backed up by excellent editing skills (which i don’t think can be underestimated as this is a tricky balance for an admissions consultant to get right between being too invasive and not offering enough polishing); along with super quick responses and great organization to keep us on track. In the end, once I had submitted all my applications, I felt like I had left everything on the field. I knew that any offers or dings from that point were out of my control. I had done my all and presented the best and most honest version of myself. I did get a few dings but I didn’t feel bad about that because I realized that if I wasn’t a good match for the school after presenting the best version of me, then that is ultimately to my benefit. Being a non-traditional (an entrepreneur) candidate when I first started on this journey I genuinely didn’t believe I had a shot at the top schools. By the end of it, although I got a few dings, I got two offers with scholarships including one that covers most of my tuition at a T15 school in the US. Throughout the whole process Christine was more than a top professional she was also a confidante who picked me up when my confidence was low and having someone in your corner that understand the emotional stresses of the application process is really invaluable. I don’t know if I would have done so well without a consultant – I will never know. There are certainly a few bandits out there that I think are only really interested in your money. But with Christine I definitely felt she was emotionally invested in my success more than anything else. If you are in two minds then reach out to Christine and have a free initial call. I suspect you won’t regret it!

I was paired with Christine and I consider myself SO lucky. Without Christine, I would never have been able to get admitted to my stretch schools. With only two years of work experience, not on a traditional high trajectory path, Christine was able to help me shape a narrative that allowed me to stand out. Christine was everything I was looking for in a consultant and more. Even with the time difference in London, she gave immediate and insightful feedback, was almost always available for a phone conversation, perfected my resume, and helped me form thoughtful essay responses. Christine was much more than a consultant during my process, she was my entire support system. With very few friends and no family receiving an MBA, I was completely counting on her to guide me through the process. I sincerely could not have done it without her. She took a personal interest in my life and where I came from, It was refreshing to think someone cared as much about my success as I did. I will forever be grateful for my experience with her.

Christine was outstanding to work with through my entire MBA application process. Her vast knowledge of European schools and previous experiences in admissions was invaluable, as she was always readily available to deal with any question or issue at moment’s notice. Throughout my whole application journey for MBA, Christine was very professional, responsive, and genuine. I was targeting Columbia from the beginning and she was there for every steps that required. I didn’t not set any budget for hiring a consultant because my only goal was to get admitted to the school that I want. I am based in New York and I was only targeting Columbia. I talked to about 10 different consultants including some consultants that my MBA friends recommended. From the first video call with Christine, I was able to know right away that she is professional and very experienced. With her solid background of working at admission offices at different schools, she really knows how to effectively tell your own, authentic and personal story into application essays. When it comes to MBA applications, I knew that it’s all about strategy on how to present yourself through applications (essays, resume and interview) and how to be the well-rounded applicant for schools. With her many years of experience at this field, she really knows how to craft the best application. I am very happy with the result and deeply thankful to her for everything.

Christine was absolutely brilliant. She has previous admissions experience, which I greatly valued and her advice was always 100% on point. My original essay drafts were generic, verbose, and bland. With Christine’s help, we transformed my original material into three very streamlined, well-articulated, to-the-point responses that really showcased my individual strengths and characteristics. Christine was always very quick to respond to my questions whether they be short, subject line only emails, or long, rambling paragraphs. She even made time for me over Christmas to help me out with some niggling issues. I felt Christine really went above and beyond. On many occasions, I would get an email saying something akin to – “Oh I’ve just been thinking again about what we spoke about 2 weeks ago … I think we should actually do it like this.” This really gave the impression she was committed to giving my application 100% attention. Christine really helped shape the material, providing perspective and context. She even got in touch the day before decision day to provide some calming words of encouragement. Choosing a consultant with actual admissions experience takes considerable guesswork out of the equation. On countless occasions, Christine was able to draw on actual experiences from reading candidates’ completed applications and relating that to how admissions decisions were made. I can’t emphasize this enough, I really saw this as the biggest value add of the whole process. And, she even had some insight into the scholarship process that allowed me to gain a scholarship to my chosen school!

I thank my lucky stars I was paired with Christine. This woman is an absolute Godsend. At every stage of the process, I knew I was working with an expert. Not just some clever MBA alumni from that school, but someone who worked on admissions committees in real life at two top schools. She knew what schools wanted, what they look for, what areas will ring alarm bells, and so on. There were no limits on the number of hours I could speak to her, how many emails I could send, or on how many iterations my essays could go through. I couldn’t be happier being matched with her. She coached me all the way through my three applications – from the basics, like thinking about why pursuing an MBA right now is the correct path to take and which schools I should consider, to interview preparation, and coping with being waitlisted (at a Top 3 school in the world) over the Christmas break! – and I think she has been my secret weapon. Though I’ll never know for sure, I am confident I would have been dinged at all of my three schools without her and her coaching.

From the first consultation to when I was admitted, Christine was extremely helpful and easy to work with! It was immediately obvious that she cares about her clients. She was instrumental in helping me understand and build my most effective and authentic story. Any time I had a question throughout the process she was always available to chat and provide feedback. Her previous experience working in admissions helped me gain a better understanding of the entire picture of my application. In the end, I was admitted to my top two schools. Christine was a pleasure to work with! I was initially skeptical of MBA consultants as the previous consultants I spoke with before Christine were mostly focused on their sales pitch and pointing out my weaknesses. My initial consultation with Christine was like a breath of fresh air. She provided a detailed assessment of my profile and provided constructive advice on what I should focus my essays on. In addition to essay help, Christine provided me emotional support throughout the application process whenever I doubted myself and gave me the confidence to forge on despite my initial rejections from my R1 schools. I am so glad I selected Christine as my consultant! She is incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, helpful, direct, and honest. With her feedback, I was able to shape my application to better reflect myself and my goals. She consistently responded within an hour or so, was always willing to jump on the phone to chat or brainstorm, and was okay doing several rounds of edits to get the materials where we both wanted them to be.
