Mr. Zaman is a great teacher! I needed to improve from a very basic level to earn a higher grade on the GRE Quant, from a dismal 138. He is great at diagnosing issues at a granular level, helping me to adjust my thinking as needed with a variety of subjects within mathematics. He is very patient, working with me even though I was sometimes too sleepy or distracted to learn easily. Within 6 months of meeting approximately once per week on Google Meet, and with minimal studying on my own, I improved my score by ten points. I think it is money very well spent! I went from fearing math to learning to love it with a friendly and kind teacher. I wish I had scheduled to meet with him 2-3 times per week from the beginning to better cement my learning. Mr. Zaman is a very helpful instructor. I was planning to retake my GRE exams to apply for a job application I needed. I was struggling to meet the minimum grade requirement, but with his session, I was able to score higher and ultimately meet the required scores. Many of the concepts we have for the GRE are lessons I haven't tackled for years. He is very patient in explaining every concept and would verify if I am effectively applying it. I'm extremely impressed, Michael has a very fluid understanding of statistics. I've had several statistics tutors, from graduate students to seasoned professors, and at times it's difficult to explain my professor's strange methods, but Michael just seems to grasp things with ease. I've had tutors spend 15 minutes trying to explain me something, that he summarized in a few seconds. Listening and digesting, his explanations feels very natural, and the information is not too overwhelming.

Michael helped me wrap my head around some fundamental concepts relating to descriptive statistics, specifically the standard deviation of one draw of a deck of cards. He walked me through the steps and helped me visualize what was going on at each step. His tutoring style is friendly and patient. I would recommend Michael every time.
