Michael G helped my 8th grader with SSAT test prep. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, he has a gift for teaching the subject matter so that my kid gets it. He assures that he addresses whatever you need help with (he will inquire in detail what would help the most), which makes the session very effective. He works well with teenagers (which is a gift as well). He helped my daughter significantly increase her math SSAT scores with a few sessions.

Michael has been an amazing college-level mathematical statistics tutor. He's not only a master of the content, but excellent at breaking down the steps and explaining the content in an accessible manner. He's patient, kind, and an excellent teacher. UPDATE: I got into my top choice business school with a full-tuition scholarship (University of Virginia Darden School of Business), thanks to Matthew's help! I’m working with Matthew to prepare to take the GRE and he’s been great! He’s provided his own material to help me as well as mixing in the test prep materials that I have already bought and official resources from the GRE, making sure to focus on the topics that I am having trouble with and regularly going over material to make sure that I really understand it before he moves on. I feel like I will be prepared for my test with his help.

Taught me tricks to memorize hard vocabs. Friendly and patient and understanding. Broke down hard questions into smaller segments and the way he taught was helpful in sentence structures.

Matthew teaches with a very calm and precise manner. I really appreciated his organization and readiness to dive into teaching without wasting a second on anything that didn't matter. He breaks down the complexities of the GRE with great strategies for studying and learning. If you need a top notch tutor, he's the one.

Matthew shared some great strategies in our first session. These strategies will be key in securing points in sections of the GRE I am already strong on but could use a few more points.
