Love Doug!

Doug has an incredible wealth of knowledge and experience that he draws on to help set me up for success. He truly cares about me and my success, and does everything he can to make sure I am confident throughout the application process. I highly recommend Doug.

Story time. I am a horrendous standardized test-taker, often over-thinking problems, over-considering potential "gotchas", etc. Before Bruce, I treated studying for the GMAT as if it were my second full-time job. I spent 2-3 hours before work, 4-5 hours after work, 5 days a week studying for the GMAT. On the Weekends, I studied 8 hours each day. Through brute force and sheer will-power, I was only able to score in the high 500s, low 600s (most good MBA schools require 700+). I still remember the first time I entered a Pearson testing center, I was so anxious and stressed out. I could have sworn I must have chosen the wrong test because all the text were written in Latin! everything I thought I'd studied for was just not in my brain during the test. Enter Bruce. His GMAT curriculum really helped me hone my studying through frameworks, which actually made the GMAT more like a game for me. His tutoring process was very well structured and the materials built on top of each other. On top of that, he was highly encouraging and empathetic with my Latin test experience and helped me improve my confidence. Through a fairly short period of time with Bruce tutoring me, I was able to score 700! I can't recommend Bruce more if you want to fast track your growth on standardized tests such as GMAT/GRE.

Bruce is a great teacher who makes tough stuff easy to understand. His tricks and ways of doing things have boosted my confidence for the test. Now, I have been able to breakdown complex questions with ease under a timed setting.

Working with Bruce was the best experience I could have asked for when studying for the GMAT/GRE. He is patient and kind, but focused and has an easily digestible curriculum. I could not recommend working with Bruce enough and because of him felt incredibly prepared for my tests.

Within our first few conversations it was evident that Vatsal is a diligent and compassionate person. After our first introductory session, evaluating my current situation and understanding, Vatsal promptly detailed the goals of each remaining session to help me keep track of my progress and plan accordingly. As impressive, and beneficial, as his proactiveness was, it is Vatsal's in-session transparency that really sets him apart from other coaches. Vatsal does not shy away from telling you what you need to hear, regardless of how tough it may be to digest at the time. This made each session more efficient and effective as we were able to attack the root of my problems; overall, accelerating my growth toward landing my consulting job. If you are looking for a hands-on teacher that skips the fluff and leverages proven techniques to help you level up, Vatsal is your guy.

What makes Tosin such a strong coach is his empathy, in combination with, his strong education and work history. I worked with Tosin when I was deciding if I wanted to complete an MBA program. He did a great job chatting with me about the pros and cons, of this decision, based on my past experiences and future career goals. Tosin was so patient. No question was too small. He kindly answered every question I had and encouraged me too ask more. He was also extremely generous with his time. Overall Tosin is a great sounding board, a great motivator, extremely hardworking and has the track record to prove his skillset. I look forward to working him again when I officially apply to programs!
