I was skeptical of someone helping tell my story and confused/overwhelmed by all the "coaching" out there. Gosh- i still get adds for Stacey Blackman Consulting. If you're like me, still on the fence with a general distrust for "consulting," please trust me--work with Ian, He sifts through the noise and helps your best self come to light. His process strips away all the surface-level parts of you that you think you need to be, or what the world might expect you to be, only to reveal the most powerful story there is-- yours. He never tried to change who I am; instead, he provided the strategic foundation that allowed my story to actually make sense to an outside audience. He has a gift for taking raw ideas and shaping them into a narrative that is not only cohesive but significantly more impactful than what I had originally envisioned.

Melanie was an exceptional coach throughout my MBA application journey. As a CBS alumna and interviewer, she brings a rare insider perspective on how admissions committees evaluate candidates and what truly makes an application stand out. Her guidance was structured, insightful, and extremely practical. As an international applicant, I initially found it challenging to clearly articulate my story and motivations. Melanie helped me refine my narrative, connect my experiences more cohesively, and communicate my decision-making with clarity and confidence. Her feedback was always strategic and honest, and it made a meaningful difference in my interview preparation. What I appreciated most was how she challenged my thinking while remaining incredibly supportive. I highly recommend working with Greg! After writing drafts for a Sustainability Masters program, I needed help getting my essays over the line.
