I first met Manish at a career fair at a UVA dorm hall, where he was a resident advisor. Immediately, Manish was able to guide a conversation where I was not only able to think through potential career paths, but also a conversation where I learned a lot about myself and what motivates me. Manish is empathetic, knowledgeable, and a person who is happy to help others. From that first conversation, Manish and I caught up on a weekly basis and he'd continue to push me to think critically about my decisions and be strategic in my career. As a student entering the university setting, I felt choice paralysis on what to explore and where I should be building my experiences. Rather than encouraging me to optimize for career drivers (power, money, impact, influence, etc), Manish took the time to understand me and explore what I found as my intrinsic motivations for a successful early career and life broadly. Fast forward three years, and Manish continues to give great advice and is someone who I will continue to call my mentor. I highly recommend Manish to those who are hoping to build a career that is true to them and their goals. He also gives great personal life advice.

I had the opportunity to work with Papa Kojo Botsio for the first time in 2020. During this period, I was particularly intrigued by the confidence he reposed in me to supervise his students or scholars with their school applications. Apart from working for him, I also benefited from his great mentorship when I was ready to send in applications for my postgraduate studies during the periods of August 2024 to April 2025. Through his exceptional guidance, I have gained admission to five of the universities I applied to.
