Rachael was the most valuable person I met during my dental school journey. As a career-changing, non-traditional applicant, I was overwhelmed by the varying prerequisites and application requirements for the different schools I was applying to. She made everything feel manageable and gave me very clear and specific answers in both phone conversations and e-mails. I followed her advice about essays/interviews/pre-reqs to the T... and got into my top schools. I ultimately chose to go to the dental school where she was the Director of Student Admissions in large part because of how professional, encouraging, and welcoming she was. I’ve heard similar stories from many classmates who encountered her on the pre-dent journey. If you’re applying to dental school, you want Rachael in your corner.

US Navy- 12 years Admitted- Tuck Class of 2027 As I was getting out of the Navy I knew that I wanted to attend a top MBA program but didn’t know anything about the nature of the application process other than I needed good test scores and it looked like there were some essays on the app portals. I met Zack at my command where we talked about his experience at Stanford GSB. He has been a terrific guide in helping navigate the application and prep process for my MBA. On the application he gave me the context of the process of how applicants are competitively evaluated against one another. In this he offered tremendous help on essays. Zack taught me how to strategize selling a particular goal, while showing a diversity of experience in the military. He facilitated research and connections to the industries I’m interested in. Helping me convey more personality to the admissions boards. He was also knowledgeable of GRE/GMAT study practices. I was further along studying when we met, but he gave me solid overall direction and advice on the test which was helpful. He also connected me to a few additional study aides that helped me wrap up and get the scores I was looking for. I ended up 168 V/170 Q/5.0 AWA on the GRE. Financing for veterans can be almost equally complex as school apps. Early on Zack got me thinking about this and thoroughly walked me through how to be a competitive candidate for VR&E. He showed me all that needed to go into the package to market my goals and experience to the VA. I cannot recommend Zack highly enough. I went to a state school for undergrad and I would have been lost without his mentorship of the expectations of top programs and how to differentiate myself from an increasing crowded field.

I didn’t grow up around corporate people. No one in my family works in tech. So I was winging it, and honestly just trying to survive meetings without sounding clueless.
