Nathan is an unceasing thinker and brilliant engineer. I look forward to discussing technical quandaries with Nathan, because I know he will find some relevant, non-contrived perspective I haven't taken into account, and he will do so without making me feel dumb or shortsighted. Every time I talk to Nathan for any meaningful length, I learn something new, or start to look at something in a new light. Nathan is the kind of person who can walk you through the bare basics of the TCP stack and then answer a question you might have about string theory without taking a breath.
