A great professional and amazing trainer!

Alan was my first engagement manager at McKinsey, and I couldn't have asked for a better manager, coach, and mentor. I also connected with Alan while I was deliberating whether to leave the firm, and he helped me gain clarity through thoughtful questions that challenged my thinking. His rare combination of kindness, empathy, and ability to recognize strengths in everyone makes him exceptional. I would recommend Alan as a coach to anyone navigating career decisions.

I was unsure about the MBA or what my next steps should be before I started working with Mike. Being CEO, he was not my direct manager, but went out of his way to identify my strengths/skills and help me develop them. Given that I was interested in grad school, he started to help me explore what work might look like post-MBA so that I could make a more informed decision. He also encouraged me to reach higher than I would have otherwise. With Mike’s coaching on strategy, I ended up getting into my dream school. Mike is truly passionate about helping people reach their potential and anyone would be lucky to have him as a coach.

He has an exceptional ability to read the mind and understand one’s mental state. Rather than simply offering advice, he guides you to discover your own solutions.

I can’t emphasize more how much of a positive impact Elijah has had on my college experience and life in general. For context, we are both part of the same scholarship program at WashU. He originally was matched to be my “virtual host,” meaning he was meant to answer any questions I had the summer before I arrived for my freshman year. Without a second thought, he agreed to get on a call to soothe my nerves about the transition from high school to college. This call ended up lasting over 90 minutes, and I immediately associated WashU with his positive spirit, patience, and humbleness. A few weeks later, we ended up being paired as father/son for our scholarship program, meaning he was to be my mentor during my time in college as well, to which he went so far beyond what was necessary that I can’t even fathom how lucky I got with him. He has done nothing but helped me throughout college, whether it be helping me navigate the workload of college academics or addressing my needs outside of academics. Anything from comforting me when I was anxious about making friends outside of our scholarship program to when I came up short applying for clubs/programs I really wanted, what impresses me the most about Elijah is his willingness to listen and adapt himself to best suit the person in front of him, What’s more, I will never take for granted how safe I feel expressing anything to Elijah, without fear of judgement and knowing I’ll leave the conversation feeling so much better about myself than before. My closing remark, which I believe sums everything I’ve said up to his point, is that Elijah will make you feel like you’re enough, no matter what.

Bryan has been a great mentor and support throughout my academic journey, especially during my Master's program in Data Science at UCI, and while I was preparing for my PhD applications. His guidance and thoughtful advice, and access to valuable resources helped me make critical decisions and develop effective strategies to reach for my goal. His mentorship was instrumental in helping me navigate both academic and career paths. I strongly believe that he will become an excellent coach for anyone striving to achieve their goals.

There is nobody I could recommend more highly than Elijah for this role. His support has been completely invaluable to me, as he has mentored me in every aspect of my prehealth journey.
