Vanessa is highly empathetic and takes the time to understand your individual goals. She's quite accomplished but does the rare thing of turning around to offer others a helping hand. There's no one else I'd recommend walking through the business school application journey with. It's challenging on so many levels, intellectually and emotionally, but Vanessa's ability to supply individual steps to help you achieve your goal is something I wish I had when I applied. She's also a people person, so even on the hardest day, she brings positivity and light to keep you motivated. She's helped me navigate a highly matrixed organization to help further my career, and I couldn't be more grateful to call her a friend.

Carolyn and I worked together at a social enterprise in Kenya. Since then, she's become an excellent thought partner - when I go to Carolyn with a question or need for advice, either personal or professional, I trust that she will lend an empathetic and discerning ear. She is thoughtful and kind, yet doesn't hesitate to challenge your perspective or thinking. She challenges you to expand your outlook, which has been incredibly valuable to me as I made critical career decisions about whether and ultimately where to pursue an MBA.
