It's a pleasure for me to take a few minutes to rave about Janaki and her work at CTI. Janaki was always a consistently high level performer at CTI. She was a great team player and always looked for ways to help others be more successful. Janaki approaches her work from a place of excellence, always looking for ways to improve and create additional value. I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Janaki Bakshi, a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, the largest educational honor society in the world. Janaki was inducted into the Alpha Epsilon Delta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at SUNY Sullivan County Community College. To be invited to membership in Phi Theta Kappa, Janaki earned high academic standing with a class rank in the top 20%. Phi Theta Kappa requires members to maintain high academic standing for the duration of enrollment at the two-year college. Established in 1918 by two-year college presidents, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society serves to recognize and encourage the academic achievement of two-year college students and provide opportunities for individual growth and development through honors, leadership and service programming. Membership in the Society reflects discipline, determination, and an innate desire to succeed. Active involvement demonstrates servant leadership, communication skills, and emerging leadership talent, particularly when a member serves beyond the chapter level at the regional level as Janaki did. Phi Theta Kappa has inducted more than 2.5 million members and chartered 1,275 chapters located in all 50 United States, Canada, Germany, Peru, the Republic of Palau, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the British Virgin Islands, the United Arab Emirates and U.S. territorial possessions. In 1929, the American Association of Community Colleges recognized Phi Theta Kappa as the official honor society for two-year colleges.

Janaki has an incredible nack for helping people tap into their own true potential. Her life experience gives her the ability to calm others and help them find the direction they really want to go in their own lives. I highly recommend her.

Janaki was an excellent Hindi teacher. She was knowledgeable, patient and kind. I believe that Janaki's warmth and wisdom would make her successful and a pleasure to deal with in any field that she was involved in.
