Talented. Good-natured. Proficient. Fun. Dedicated. He works with the efficiency of two people, and an infectious positivity that makes him an asset to any creative department, large or small.

There aren't many Art Directors like Chrix. Anyone that's ever worked with him knows that he's a certified double threat with his mad print production and art direction skills. And don't get me started on his sense of humor. It's completely infectious. But the real reason why Chrix is great at what he does is because he's someone others just want to be around. Concepting is a blast. Work doesn't feel like work. And advertising is actually fun just like they tell you it would be in portfolio school. But it's true when you get to work with a kick-ass AD like Chrix.

Chrix is an ideal creative partner, smart thinker, superb art director and an all-around great guy. I had the pleasure of working with him on several large-scale projects. Throughout them all his high standards and astute eye for design helped ensure the client was more than pleased and the work only got better. He’s clever, genuine and talented, but the coolest thing about Chrix is his hunger, passion and drive to do great work that pushes the norm. Dare him to rise to the challenge, and he’ll deliver above and beyond every time.

Chrix is simply one of the best Art Directors I've been able to work with. He is a professional to the highest degree and I could always count on him to complete his projects quickly and to the highest quality. He has a great understanding of everything from production work to conceptual art direction. Chrix is an absolute team player and a pleasure to work with.

Chrix is a truly dependable and gifted art director. He's an innovative thinker, and also a whiz on the computer. At Slingshot, Chrix had to do production and art direction at the same time, and he always met his deadlines. And he would always offer to help others in our group out, even if it meant staying late. Chrix is truly a great guy to work with.

Chrix could juggle knives and flame throwers if you asked him to do it. No matter how crazy and hectic things become, he is cool, calm and collected. While working with Chrix at Slingshot, I relied on him to develop innovative solutions (both traditional and digital) under timelines that would send most running away. Let’s not forget that his work is simply amazing. I will always endorse and trust him when it comes to my clients’ businesses.

Chrix Urbina is one of the finest employees I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Chrix was constantly going above and beyond his duties at Slingshot. Not only is Chrix extremely talented, he also has a tremendous thirst for knowledge in his field. He has a constant desire to learn new information and stay ahead in this ever-changing industry. No matter what the field of work is, Chrix approaches it with an open-mind and a willingness to conquer each task exceptionally. Chrix is also the definition of a team leader. There have been several instances when he has been willing to stay late nights, work weekends, and come in early mornings to make sure the rest of the team is accomplishing their projects. In addition to an excellent team leader, Chrix was an extraordinary teacher. He was constantly helping others improve in their craft and improve in this agency. I myself, have come to understand so many facets of the advertising world because of Chrix. When I think of an excellent employee, Chrix is the first person to come to mind. He is an exceedingly talented individual who embodies the role of a team-leader and instructor. I look forward to working with Chrix Urbina again.

Chrix always has a smile on his face, and the ability to keep that smile on his face was always amazing to me. Along with the ability to get along with everyone he always strived for the best. His can do attitude and meticulous work make him a assets to any company.

I had the opportunity to work with Chrix on several large-scale strategic redesigns that spanned multiple Dell business units. Both I and the team I led at the time found Chrix to be a thoughtful, proactive, and crazy-talented collaborator who really “got” the value of content within the experience. Sounds like a small detail, but so often in UX environments, you’ll find designers working in silos to generate otherwise amazing UIs and visuals that leave content as an afterthought. Likewise for collaboration with engineering: As the team kicked off a transformation from waterfall to Agile, Chrix really dug into the challenge of co-located development and emerged as a trusted and fast-thinking creative partner with our UI engineers. The fact that Chrix is a killer designer doesn’t hurt, either.
