I started working with Emily only about a month before my application deadlines, and she went above and beyond to help me navigate the process on a very tight timeline. As a veteran applying to business school, I needed help translating my military experience into terms that would resonate with civilian admissions committees, and Emily was great at spotting where my application needed clarity or a different perspective. What stood out most was how invested she was in helping me tell my story well. She helped me step back, understand my own experiences more clearly, and communicate them in a way that felt authentic to me. By the time I submitted my applications, I felt genuinely confident and proud of what I was putting forward. Emily was thoughtful, responsive, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. I’m really grateful for her guidance and would absolutely recommend her to anyone going through the MBA application journey.

Danyal rocks!! I can’t recommend Danyal enough! Danyal and I first met to work on applications for a prestigous scholarship (think Gates-Cambridge/Fulbright/etc. ) and he was incredibly helpful in preparing for the scholarship interview. As a CS student, Danyal was perfect for prepping for AI/ML interview questions, helping me craft my story, sharpening my responses, and strengthening my interview presence. While I became a finalist for the scholarship but was ultimately not selected, Danyal was instrumental in making sure I showed up with my absolute best for the interview. After the scholarship process, Danyal again came in clutch. Due to personal circumstances, I had very limited time to prepare my PhD applications. I decided to apply to 8 T10 US schools for CS PhD. Even with the tight timeline, he was attentive, responsive, and consistently available. He provided expert advice on my school list, SOP, personal statement, selecting potential advisors, and honing my focus for my PhD studies. I felt that I got a ton of value from every session, and it always felt like our time was used very efficiently. In the PhD interview process, I was fortunate to interview at 6 T10 CS PhD programs (of 8), and Danyal again helped me prep strong, specific responses and feel genuinely ready for interviews. In the end, I was thrilled to earn acceptances at 3 T10 programs, including my first choice. I was very happy with this result!!! Because of how extensively we’ve worked together, I feel very confident recommending him. He provides exceptional support and you won’t find someone more knowledgeable, thoughtful, or kinder. I truly feel that my investment in his coaching was key to achieving success in my applications. Just hire Danyal - you won’t regret it!

Working with Machmud was an incredibly positive experience! We met to discuss my personal statement for law school and to finalize my list of schools that I would apply to. Machmud helped me through the whole process - from brainstorming to editing and submitting my personal statement and supplementals to eight law schools. I really appreciated his availability, approachable nature, and willingness to work with me throughout the whole process. I’m going to be attending my top choice in the fall with a major scholarship! I would highly recommend Machmud!

Emily was everything I needed in a coach. She is a knowledgeable, direct and passionate coach and has been a supportive friend through the grueling application process. Completing my GRE in July left me with very little time before Round 1 deadlines. I had no idea which schools were realistic targets or if I could build a strong application on such a tight timeline, so I knew I needed a coach. As I interviewed prospective coaches, most seemed helpful but gave me the impression I should lower my expectations. Emily was different. From our first conversation, she was fully supportive of my goals and ready to get to work. She was realistic about timelines but optimistic about outcomes, pushing me to refine my school list strategically so we could focus our efforts where they mattered most. Mindful of my budget, she prioritized my reach schools while empowering me to tackle other applications independently once I was confident in my story. Emily took the time to truly understand my background, values, strengths, and goals. She helped me articulate my story in a way that highlighted my strengths and charted a clear path from my past experiences through my MBA to my future goals. She developed a tailored strategy for each school and connected me with current students and alumni to inform my decisions. When doubts crept in during the process, Emily was a constant source of encouragement, frequently pointing out strengths in my background I'd completely overlooked and helping me see the value I could bring to each program. I'm especially grateful for the patient way she helped refine my essays. Her suggestions helped me cut the fluff while preserving my voice and vision. She was equally invaluable in interview prep, helping me identify areas for improvement and providing actionable feedback that left me feeling prepared and confident. In the end, I was admitted to every program I applied to, a feat I could not have accomplished without her tireless support. I cannot recommend Emily enough. If you're fortunate enough to work with her, she will believe in you, push you, and give you the tools and support you need to have the best shot at your goals.

I came to Cameilla for help with my CS master's program applications. It was very last minute (1 week before the deadline), but she was extremely helpful in getting helping prioritize applications and find programs that matched my skills. Before meeting with her, I did not have plans to apply to CMU because of its competitiveness, but after working with her I did and was accepted!

I contacted Melissa just a few days before the priority deadline for NYU Law School, and she was incredibly accommodating. In the short time we had, she helped me completely revamp my personal statement as well as an additional essay for a first-generation scholarship (which were initially not anywhere close to where they needed to be). Melissa was kind, easy to reach, and, most importantly, knew how to develop and transform even the roughest ideas into a compelling narrative. I truly don’t think I would have been admitted to NYU without her help.
