I started working with Ishan during my junior year of high school. Ishan really helped me to get out of my comfort zone to get involved in things I never would have considered. That gave me a much better perspective on what I wanted to do with my life. When it came to essay editing, we worked together to make sure that every sentence was my own, so that I could show as much of myself as possible to the schools I was applying to. If you're wondering about how effective the process is, I would say that I accomplished more than I expected and got into schools that would have been out of my reach otherwise.

I signed up for Ishan during 11th grade, and I'm so glad I did! I had straight A's and strong extracurriculars, but I had no idea how to write my essays and stand out in the college admissions process. My college counselors and Ishan helped me develop a theme and write focused, specific essays that made me sound much stronger than I would've without their help. I got accepted to most schools that I applied to, and I will be attending Cornell next year and couldn't be happier!

It was so convenient and I'd say one of his most useful tools was his collection of past successful essays. He had comments and analysis on why they were good.
