Hi Jen, I’m sort of in shock right now I think. I just got accepted to Johns Hopkins with a full ride!! I’m still waiting on a lot of my responses, and I think I’ll be getting notified of whether I got the full ride scholarship to Berkeley sometime in the next few weeks, so I’m not completely committed just yet – but it is definitely up there with my top choices! I never really thought this far ahead honestly, but I’ll start doing some more in depth research and making comparisons as acceptances come. Also, I just wanted to thank you for everything. Your help every step of the way is part of what made this wild dream possible, and I’m so beyond grateful – for your edits on my essays, advice on college applications and interviews, and everything else. I’m sending you lots of virtual hugs from Boise!!

I am beyond excited to share that I have officially committed to Harvard University! The financial aid appeal I did came through, and it came out to only $900 per semester! I was also accepted to Brown, Stanford, and Yale, but will be attending Harvard! Thank you for helping me out throughout this entire process. I really would not have been able to do this if it was not for your help!

I just got accepted into WashU!!! With a full-ride scholarship! – one of the ones I worked with you on the application for, alongside multiple mock interviews. They’re offering full tuition for 4 years which is awesome! Thanks so much for your help with the interview process! My final choices were between the scholars program at WashU, Columbia, and Brown… and I’ve decided to go with WashU! I think I can confidently say that without your help I wouldn’t have gotten many essays done on time. Thanks to you, I was able to get into the school I wanted to go to the most with a scholars program, which really helped convince my parents over the ivies lol. Thanks!!!

Jennifer is the most knowledgeable, understanding, and patient mentor you could ask for and overall just a pleasure to work with. She was always there for me during times of stress and there to help smooth out all the bumps and truly cares about every single one of her students’ goals and futures. I worked with Jennifer Liepin during my senior year in high school. Jennifer proved that she had a myriad of knowledge relating to the admissions process which, combined with her friendly and helpful demeanor, helped quell a lot of anxiety brought about by the college application process. She explained the most critical parts of the process, what to focus on, and answered all of the many questions I had. The admissions process is very intimidating for a high school senior, and there is a lot of room for self-doubt and second guessing oneself. Jennifer helped at every step of the way, from tackling the common application, to choosing which schools were the best fit for me, and what approach I should take for shorter essay questions asked by individual schools. After a disappointing rejection from my first early decision school, Jennifer helped me bounce back and apply to NYU for Early Decision II, which resulted in my admittance. Even as a confident writer, Jennifer had many smart tips about how to tweak wording and personal ambition in my general essay and in school-issued essay questions that made me feel like my writing was significantly improved after her revisions and suggestions. Jennifer’s professionalism and warmly reassuring personality helped me feel confident throughout the process of admissions, as well as making big decisions for my future. Without her help, I’m sure my essays and applications would not be as polished or assured, and I would have felt a much heavier pressure on me throughout my senior year.
