I highly commend Giselle for her exceptional coaching skills. Giselle supported me throughout my recruitment journey by helping me frame my experience to better suit the roles I was applying for and to better understand my strengths. She was also very helpful in selecting and improving my stories by brainstorming together and do several mock interviews to get a feel of the real interviews. Giselle has a very friendly personality that makes working with her very pleasant.

Multiple offers from McKinsey, BCG, Bain and Wyman and from multiple locations (Spain, Paris and Latam)! I cannot stress how much Ian went above and beyond to support me. His focus was on minimizing the sessions we needed by providing me as much as he could between sessions. Even dedicating time to chat about my location strategy (as I wanted to apply to more than one region). What I particularly appreciated was how he had something for everything. Before and after every session he let me know exactly what I needed to work on and HOW I needed to improve. He was very deliberate in what he assigned me, so that I could progress as much as possible between sessions. When we met, each session was super targeted and led me to a step-change in my thinking and approach. A special note to Ian's World of Frameworks video, a masterclass of it's own. It wraps up all key MBA-level concepts in a video. And, that video is part of an entire course he's built out to complement his coaching. This is one of the best investment I've made. Thank you Ian!

Working with Ian has been an incredibly valuable experience. Within the first session, Ian was able to drill down on my casing weaknesses and build out a tailored plan on how to improve these deficiencies. Ian was able to explain structuring of cases in such a way that really allowed me to (1) structure any kind of case problem (2) communicate that structure in a very purpose driven approach. Even beyond just the casing experience, Ian provided me with an immense number of resources from how to improve the behavioral portion of interviews, to resume reviews and networking. When things were getting tough for me with balancing both work and prep, Ian was able to sense this during one of our sessions and provided words of encouragement/pep talks which really go a long way – you need confidence along with skill in order to pass these interviews. With his help, I was successfully able to secure an offer at BOTH Bain and Strategy&. With most coaches, the relationship usually ends after the candidate completes their interviews. But with Ian, he was still invested in ensuring that I would be able to successfully transition into the role at Bain and provided advice as to how I can succeed at the firm.

I highly recommend ZeeShawn for SAT tutoring. I had previously worked with another tutor but didn't get good results. When I switched to ZeeShawn, he was very patient and committed to ensuring my learning. Particularly, in the reading section, ZeeShawn gave me many tips and strategies to dissect questions and improve my accuracy. I approached James when I was starting my process of applying to business schools and I found him to be an incredibly helpful resource during a stressful and confusing process. What I appreciated most about our conversations was the clarity and personal touch he provided – he reminded me to pursue colleges based on fit rather than simply reputation, and to bring my full and honest self in my applications. It made the process of narrowing down colleges and writing essays much easier! He brings a level of transparency, vulnerability and candor to the conversation, which is both rare and extremely valuable to have in a coach.

I absolutely loved working with Ian and consider myself fortunate that I found him during the case interview process. Ian worked with me specifically on making my frameworks more targeted and less canned. He helped me understand the problem and focus on the question that was being asked -- something that was immensely helpful during my interviews with BCG where the cases they gave me were somewhat unconventional and hard to fit into the usual framework structure. He also helped me become a much better communicator while casing, specifically focusing on providing hypothesis and real life examples to support frameworks. On the day of my final interview, my nerves caused me to miss something super basic in the case but I still got the BCG offer because Ian was able to teach me how to demonstrate structured thinking. So even if I did not arrive at the most complete answer my interviewers knew I was capable of logical and structured thinking and were comfortable making me the offer.

I knew I had found the right coach within the first 10 minutes of our session. To me, an excellent coach possesses two essential attributes: 1. The ability to uncover the root cause of your challenges. 2. The skills to provide effective solutions paired with resources to help you permanently fix the problems While some coaches may be able to do #1, but not many can do #2. Ian is a fantastic coach who is incredibly personal, but my favourite thing about him is his sharpness to pinpoint the root cause problem and provide implementable actions. Furthermore, what sets Ian apart is that he doesn't simply teach a one-size-fits-all approach; rather, he imparts the skills and knowledge necessary to tackle any case with confidence and competence. I observed massive improvements in interview readiness under Ian's guidance and I wholeheartedly give Ian the 1000-star review he deserves!
