As a founder preparing for fundraising, I've had a million things on my plate and feel pretty overwhelmed and stressed... but John was able to meet me with clarity and provide a structure to walk through things one step at a time. He is an incredible listener, somebody who quickly sees a vision and just gets it. Specifically, John helped me shape a strong narrative, and gave me the confidence in being able to tell the right story for our startup. Bob helped me unearth and organize details from my life to create two powerful essays. I told him that it couldn’t be done, that my life was pretty ordinary, even privileged. But with his questioning and prodding, I wound up remembering small details that I thought I’d long forgotten, and soon enough, I had rough drafts. Afterward, he helped me polish and polish the results. I couldn’t be happier.

Robert did a phenomenal job explaining how to write a great resume. With such a rich background in English and writing his advice was exactly what I needed in creating a strong resume.

I just finished my third lesson with Robert. He has masterfully taught me how to tighten the wording in my essay which is now a balance of my style of writing while providing the answers colleges are looking for. Robert will give you insider tips on what those essay questions are really asking. He is wonderful at guiding you with visual examples and pointing out your writing strengths and weaknesses all resulting in an engaging and concise essay you will confidently submit.
