When I started my college journey, I thought I knew more than I actually did! Amanda is an amazing teacher, mentor, and friend. She supports you from the stage of "What's college and how do I go?" all the way until you hit commit! We started with an understanding of who I am as a person and student and what would fit me best. It's so much more personal than a quiz you take from Google. She supported me from essay to essay, with each question on the Common App and everything in between. I called it her "magic." She will put her all into each sentence and paragraph to ensure that it is outstanding for college admissions and for her students. We started in the summer of my senior year; this seemed silly but was so real once school started, and I did not need to worry about cranking out essays on top of my normal homework load. Before working with her, I had never known that the University of Redlands even had a music program. With her help, I was admitted and am now committed to the absolute perfect place for me!

Without Ren, I honestly don't know how I would have secured my GSB interview invite. He crafted a winning strategy for my essays, ensuring my stories remained authentic yet compelling enough to resonate with the AdCom. I applied some his strategies to other schools and was able to receive interview invites from 4 other top programs including Wharton and Columbia. The additional interview coaching I received from Ren has boosted my confidence in being able to convert these interviews into acceptances. I can't recommend Ren enough!
